Health Camp

The National Service Scheme (NSS) organizes medical camps to provide free healthcare to students, faculty, and the community. The camps also raise awareness about health issues and promote preventive healthcare.

Road Safety

National Road Safety Week is a week-long campaign that takes place every year from January 11 to January 17.

Purpose
  • To educate people about the importance of road safety measures
  • To encourage people to follow traffic rules and regulations
  • To develop traffic discipline to prevent road accidents
  • To create awareness about the perils of reckless or irresponsible driving

Swacch Bharat

To generate awareness and educate youth leaders and volunteers with the help of NSS on the need of cleanliness drives and waste collection & disposal.

  • To make the citizens aware and sensitise them on cleanliness.
  • To disseminate and amplify the messages among their peer groups and fellow citizens.
  • To empower youth to assume lead roles for educating people on waste collection and its safe disposal.
  • To make the program a People's Movement through Jan Bhagidari.
  • Cleaning of households, community spaces, iconic places and historical monuments.
  • Campaign on Swachhta- practice of physical and mental hygiene.
  • Awareness on SUP, plastic recycling and reduction of use, segregation of waste at source and waste management at households.

Tobacco free

To make Educational Institutions "Tobacco-Free", Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India released the revised Tobacco Free Educational Institution (ToFEI) guidelines in 2019.

  • Create awareness about harmful effects and long-term health impact of tobacco use amongst the students, teachers, workers and officials in educational institutions.
  • Create awareness about available tobacco cessation services and methods to quit.
  • Ensure better implementation of legal provisions regarding sale and use of tobacco products, especially those related to educational institutions, public places, statutory warnings and minors access to tobacco. iv. To ensure a healthy and tobacco free environment in all educational institutions in the country.
